The Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad( PBUH) over 23 times, and its verses were learned by the early Muslims as soon as they were revealed.

This oral tradition ensured that the Quran was transmitted directly from generation to generation, and it was ultimately collected into a written form during the caliphate of Uthman( RA).
