Book the Perfect Hajj Package
The perfect Hajj package serves as the gateway to the smoothest and most memorable pilgrimage. Before you arrive in Makkah for the pilgrimage, you must familiarise yourself with the Hajj rituals. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to perform the pilgrimage with all the rituals.
Enter the State of Ihram
Like the voluntary pilgrimage, it is also necessary for the Hajj pilgrims to enter the state of Ihram. It is a state of purity and sanctity that you must maintain throughout your pilgrimage rituals. Men must wear the specified unstitched clothing, while women must wear their modest regular clothes. There are also some behavioural restrictions associated with this state that you must follow.
Arrival in Makkah and Performing Umrah (for Hajj Tamattu')
If you plan to perform Hajj Tamattu, in which you must enter the state of Ihram, perform an Umrah, and exit Ihram before observing it again for the Hajj pilgrimage, here is what you will have to do. You must perform the Umrah and the following Umrah rituals in this case.

Perform Tawaf, which involves circling seven times around the cubic structure around the Kaaba.

Perform Sa’i, which includes walking between Safa and Marwah seven times.

Men must shave their heads or trim their hair. Women must also trim their hair. This will mark the completion of Umrah.
On this day, you must re-enter the state of Ihram and head towards the tent city, Mina. This is the place where pilgrims stay overnight and offer shortened regular prayers.
Known as the most significant day of the pilgrimage, pilgrims head over to the plains of Arafat after the Fajr prayer on the 9th of Dhul Hijjah. Pilgrims then perform Wuquf, which involves standing in supplication from Dhuhr until Maghrib. After that, you will have to offer a shortened, combined Dhuhr and Asr prayer. Immerse yourself in heartfelt duas and supplications. As the sun sets, you must leave for Muzdalifah without offering the Maghrib prayer.
Once you arrive in Muzdalifah, you must offer a combined Maghrib and Isha prayer. After that, all the pilgrims must collect 49 to 70 pebbles for the next ritual, which is the stoning of the devil. Then everyone must sleep under an open sky and wake up at Fajr to head over to Mina again.
This day starts with the stoning of the devil. You will have to throw seven pebbles at Jamarat al-Aqabah. After that, pilgrims offer Qurbani, offering a sacrificial animal. Men then shave their heads, and women trim their hair. You can then change your Ihram clothes and wear regular clothes before you head over to the Kaaba to perform Tawaf al-Ifadah and Sa’i if you haven’t performed it earlier.
On these days, you will have to stay in Mina and perform Rami, the stoning of the devil, each day with seven pebbles. You can leave on the 12th. Some pilgrims prefer to stay an extra day to enjoy additional rewards and a quieter time in Mina.
Hajj is very different than Umrah. Umrah can be performed within a few hours at any time of the year, which is not the case with Hajj. Hajj rituals are more elaborate and are confined to one ritual a day.
